Boy is it good to be back on Kinja. I’ve been out there getting “paid” to write about “real automotive news”, but that hasn’t been completely satisfying, so here we are, talking about skateboard decks.
If you’re not familiar with Enjoi, they’re a skateboard company that doesn’t take themselves seriously. Their graphics are best described as unusual, although sometimes they do artist collaborations that are rather simple.
Having picked up my skateboard for the first time in months this past weekend, and then broken said board, I found myself looking at replacement decks earlier today. After a great deal of browsing, and a detour to Bring A Trailer, I came across these Bitchin’ Camaro decks.
The walls of my apartment are already adorned with many a skateboard, and I don’t have a garage of my own to line with “stuff”, so I won’t be picking one of these up, but if you do, or your significant other has a good sense of humor, I recommend grabbing one of these. Actually, I’d say get all of them, they’ll look better hung up as a set, and they’re much better conversation starters than that Reservoir Dogs poster in a $20 Wal-Mart frame.
You can find the decks here on Skate Warehouse in the sale section. If you don’t get some of the references, just ask for clarification here in the comments and I’ll be happy to explain what “my trucks are too tight” means.
